I am losing sleep over things that I cannot control and yet I feel compelled to speak out and express my concerns. I have tried to make excuses for the dysfunction and tragedies that are upon our country. I consider that the president is just an emotionally ill ego-centrist and his enablers are simply unaware blind followers. But deep within me, I see the fallacy of my trying to make rational excuses for the instigators and enablers who are creating life-threatening and destructive misery for many Americans and our friends throughout the world.
As imperfect as we are as a nation, we Americans have been viewed by many others as bastions of freedom and democracy who stand up for truth, equity, and justice. This perception of us is dying right before our eyes. Is this what we want?
What we are now seeing is pure evil destroying us like an aggressively growing cancer, spreading and taking away our lives. We must not deny this fact. We must fight this situation like we would fight cancer to save our way of living and our liberties. This struggle is not just for us but for our children and our children’s children and personal freedom throughout the world.
